"It is with great pleasure that we share comments on our experience with Danielle Claroni who managed the sale of our apartment in Greenwich CT. We have brought and sold three properties in three different states (CA, NY and CT) in the last 20 years, but have never encountered such a level of excellence. 

We first met Danielle in January 2013 when we were trying to refinance our condo. The appraiser assigned by the bank was a novice in the Greenwich real estate market. Her appraisal report was 40% under market value and, as a result, we were not able to qualify for the loan we were seeking. Danielle was introduced to us at this crucial moment. She worked overnight to produce a 30-40 pages detailed valuation report. She then found us a mortgage broker that had a long track record with Danielle. The financing company worked diligently to do its very best. In the end, we received the best possible deal which wouldn’t have happened without Danielle. Despite all of her hard work, she didn’t make even a penny. We had decided at that time Danielle would be our real estate agent in the future whether we are buying or selling.

The opportunity came sooner than we expected. We had to move to the west coast in the late summer of 2015 due to my husband’s job change. We decided to put our apartment on the market, but it needed a renovation to be shown at its best. I contacted Danielle and she came right away. Based on her deep and solid knowledge of the market, she immediately drew up a scope of work along with a cost estimate. I traveled to the west coast a few days later, leaving her a messy place with a few odds and ends. Danielle set to work to interview several general contractors and chose the best one who could start the work right away. There is a long-term working relationship between Danielle and the general contractor, and I didn’t have to pay up front.

Danielle treated our renovation project as if it was her own house. She monitored the progress, checked the job quality and was especially careful with the budget. She paid detailed attention to every small thing such as choosing the materials, the wall color, even the door and cabinet knobs. She sent photos and e-mail messages periodically to keep us updated.

She made sure to keep us in the loop.

The renovation was completed on schedule in October 2015. It was not a favorable time of year to put our property on the market. The fact was there were several condo units in our building up for sale. With Danielle’s good advice, we listed our condo with an appropriate price and received a decent offer in the third week. According to the super of our building, we received a fair price in a short amount of time.

We once again benefitted from Danielle’s network. Danielle introduced us to a competent and easy to work with lawyer who represented us in the sale.

In conclusion, the experience at each phase of the sale was superior. Danielle told us which renovations would make the apartment show better, and, after we received an offer, helped answer further questions that the buyer had about the property. All of these tasks were accomplished with competence, humility, integrity and grace.

We definitely give Danielle the highest recommendation. Danielle has got to be the most knowledgeable real estate person in the Greenwich CT market. We found working with her a joy as she was there to help us during every step of the process. She emanates a sense of trust-worthiness that makes you feel very secure during what is without a doubt a very involved process. Danielle is a true professional in every sense of the word, and puts her clients’ interests above her own.
